PDF | Complete Collection - 1", 2" & 3" Scrappy Triangles and 1" & 2" Scrappy Strips
*This is a pattern bundle, please, read the entire description so you don’t accidentally purchase other patterns that are already included. You can find the patterns listed separately here.*
Are you a scrap lover trying to figure out what to do with all those little leftover bits of fabric? How to use the smallest pieces in quilting projects? How to cut and piece those small bits accurately without going insane? Or do you just like a fun challenge?
I’ve got the answer: foundation paper pieced Scrappy Triangles and Scrappy Strips. There is no finicky cutting, they can use the smallest odd sized bits, and the piecing is always precise. The perfect solution!
The Tiny Piecing Collection is comprised of 3 sets of foundation paper pieced Scrappy (half square) Triangles and 2 sets of Scrappy Strips. If you want the flexibility and fun of piecing all the sizes, you'll want the whole Tiny Piecing Collection. (Plus,.... shhhh.... don't tell anyone, but you will save $10 over buying them separately.)
Here is what is included:
The 1" Scrappy Triangle patterns:
- 16 Scrappy Triangle foundations
- pincushion pattern
The 2" Scrappy Triangle patterns:
- 18 Scrappy Triangle foundations
- 8" quilt block pattern
The 3" Scrappy Triangle patterns:
- 20 Scrappy Triangle foundations
- 12" quilt block pattern
The 1" Scrappy Strip (1" x 8") patterns:
- 4 left and right facing Scrappy Triangle strips
- 2 left and right facing plain half square triangle strips
- 4 abstract scrappy strips
- 4 striped strips
- 8" quilt block pattern
The 2" Scrappy Strip (2" x 6") patterns:
- 6 left and right facing Scrappy Triangle strips
- 3 abstract strips
- 3 striped strips
- 12" quilt block pattern
You will have hours of fun playing with these foundations! They are a fun, fast scrap buster that can be used in many ways. The simplest way is to use the Scrappy Triangles in place of half square triangles in any quilt block pattern. If the pattern says to make eight 3” half square triangles, make and use eight 3” Scrappy Triangles instead. Then try using the Scrappy Strips as accent panels in zipper pouches, bags, and quilt blocks. The possibilities are endless!
The patterns do not include instructions for how to foundation paper piece, but I do have a tutorial on my blog you can reference. The Ultimate Guide to Foundation Paper Piecing. It will guide you though, step by step.
If you are not sure you want the whole Collection, the patterns are listed separately in the Shop.
