Fall & Winter Color Ways for Scrappy Sunshine Quilt
In the spring, I released my FREE Scrappy Sunshine quilt pattern. It is fast, fun, fat quarter and fat eighth friendly. It looks great in bright summer colors, but it is an all season quilt that is fun to make in the winter and fall too!
Below are some mock ups that I made in fall and winter color ways - use them as a jumping off point for your own seasonal creation.

Here are a few fall mock ups. The first, Pumpkin Spice, is made with various scrappy oranges with a dark brown accent fabric. Fall Colors also has a dark brown accent color but uses various shades of dark yellow and orange to give the quilt a fall leaf feel. The third quilt, Beware Witches! has a distinct Halloween vibe. The bright purple accent fabric works well with the mix of green and black scrappy fabric.
Or maybe you are thinking ahead to winter? You can make the Scrappy Sunshine quilt in winter colors too! Holly & Jolly uses red and green fabrics to mimic holly and would look perfect by your Christmas tree. Or make the quilt in grays, aquas and blues for a Winter Wonderland quilt that you can snuggle under all winter long.
This quilt is so quick to make that you could easily make up a couple of different versions. The pattern comes with instructions for crib, throw, twin, and queen sized quilts. Something for everyone!
