Patch Party Block of the Month

Hi! Thanks so much for your interest in my Patch Party Block of the Month. Here are a few extra resources and things I want to make sure you know before you get started.

1. The Patch Party BOM can be run as a 6 or 12-month program. To run it as a 6-month program, simply hand out two sets of block instructions and fabric each month. This can be done at the same time, or you could have the quilters come in twice during the month. Whatever works best for you and your customers.

2. I have linked below Fabric Ordering Requirements for 10, 20, 30, and 40 kits, including SKUs and Kit Cutting Guides to aid you in ordering and preparing fabric. Please note that fat quarters cannot be replaced with quarter yard cuts.

3. I recommend, and the pattern is written for, giving the quilter all of the background fabric the first month. I did this because there were different amounts of background fabric needed each month. Giving customers the fabric in a large chunk will cut down on your cutting and folding time and allows for better use of fabric. 

4. Quilters will need to save their solid scraps to use in the final quilt block. Please, remind them of this so they do not forget.

5. Bonus Resource! Each month in 2021, Rob Appell of Making it Fun!, Michael Miller Fabrics’ YouTube channel, will post a video tutorial for one of the quilt blocks in Patch Party. The videos will air on the first Wednesday of every month. Feel free to share the videos with your customers for extra support and instruction.
